GEAR: Students & parents, please remember to NOT give away or loan any gear, weapons or uniforms to other students. All gear used in the classes must be purchased from the school, by the person using it. Also, forget about E-Bay, yard sales or flea markets. The profit from the gear sales goes toward keeping the school’s doors open.

SKIPPING TEST IN DECEMBER: All Black Belt Club members will be able to skip ranks on their karate test this December. It is not easy to do, but it can be done. This saves on the amount of dues paid by eliminating some of the training time. Also, some BBC members can skip rank in the weapons & Chito Ryu tests. The weapons/Chito Ryu skip test promotions are at a reduced price. But, if you do NOT want the extra charges of skip testing, please inform Mr. Spivey before test day.

RANK CERTIFICATION RENEWALS: The rank certification (sometimes referred to as “registration”) is an annual costs, to be renewed every year. Your rank certification insures that you have legitimate and recognized rank. Most rank awarded by most karate schools is only valid & recognized by that school or organization. As soon as you walk out of the door, the value & legitimacy disappears. Your rank is recognized & recorded by the largest ranking & training organization in the USA, The World Martial Arts Masters & American Independent Karate Instructors Assoc. Not everyone is allowed to be part of that organization. Recently, a local Black Belt was turned down. You will never be awarded rank that is not “real.”

DISRUPTIONS: Parents, disruptions in the class, by your child, will not be tolerated. Students, do not make a decision to take part in disrupting activities & expect to get away with it because “someone else started it.” Do not participate in disrupting activities. There is no other way to put it.
